One of our favorite family activities is to go fly remote controlled airplanes. It's a fun free activity that gets the boys (and Dad) grinning ear to ear. I especially love that it gets us all outside and running around. We have two planes (make sure you get different frequency planes) that I got at Target for under $30. They have proven to be a very worthy investment. And so far we haven't had any cracks or breaks that a little super glue couldn't fix.

Instead of heading to the park like usual we decided to head to a small airport museum close to our house and it was the perfect setting.
