Mrs. Meyers Clean Day

Do you love cleaning? Me neither. It's one of those necessary evils, like weeding and eating. Mrs Meyers doesn't love cleaning either, but as a mother of 9 (yes, she is a real person) she figures why not at least enjoy the smell while you're cleaning.
The Lavender is my new favorite scent. It has me looking for surfaces to clean. And because there are no harsh chemicals you can be rest assured they are safe to use.

Enjoy!

cleaning up for guests

Sometimes the expectation of holiday guests is a great reason to do some deep cleaning.
I have a quick cleaning tip that will save you time and embarrassment. You know that cloudy film that seems to appear so quickly on your shower curtain. And in order to combat said "film" you lay your shower curtain out in the yard to hose it off and in the process display your filmy curtain for all neighbors and passers by to see. Well this time just throw your plastic shower curtain in your washing machine with some detergent & bleach.  Before you know it you will have yourself a brand new curtain ready and waiting for your Christmas guests.

I wish I could take full credit for this one, but it comes from Martha Stewart. When Domino magazine went under they replaced my subscription with Living mag. and lucky for me I found this lovely bit of advice.
Enjoy!
And don't forget to tell your mother and best friend to enter our Puj Tub giveaway on your behalf!
Cheers.

jump

I like to jump.
There is something about the weightlessness and the freedom that causes me to propel myself into the air and hope for a good landing.

Growing up I was a gymnast and a diver who was always bouncing off of something.
In college it was snowboarding, wake-boarding, and rock climbing.

Now I am a mom and I am mostly just looking to giggle like a little girl.

Below are some pictures of our jumpy weekend on the Oregon coast with good friends...enjoy!

I hope in some way that these pictures have inspired you to be weightless and free. But most of all I hope you go do something that makes you giggle.
